Here is a link to find Ford dealers that are, or at least were active CNG maintenance and repair facilities.
Some of these dealers no longer fool with CNG since Ford pulled out of the US market, but they may still have their finger in it or carry parts that you need.
Good luck.

You are right, some of those on the list no longer service the vehicles. Colley Ford jumped out of it, though Wondries Ford in Alhambra deals with lots of LA County / City vehicles, so they are pros.
I had my 98 F250 in for a minor leak on the underbody tank valve, and though it took a few days for them to "validate" my soapy water test findings, they eventually replaced the value (versus tightening it?) and did some free recall work while they were at it.

I just tried to have a service on a 2000 Ford Crown Vic at Pearson Ford in San Diego, was informed they will no longer service CNG. Service wasn't completed, have to take it to another Ford dealer.

I have also seen GM stopped production of CNG cars as of 2003 model year. Have you heard any reasoning to why they did that? Actually, Ford, GM and Chrysler no longer offer CNG vehicles. Do you know why?

Probably because of death threats from OPEC???
Seriously though, I would be surprised if the petroleum industry wasn't putting heavy pressure on the manufacturers to prevent AFV from success. They don't want their gravy-train taken away, especially now that the gravy is gold-plated :p
Letters, Letters, and more letters, to the makers, to the editor, to anybody who will listen. Tell them america is beyond ready for CNG to become mainstream.

I have a hunch that, if gas prices don't head south, we will see a totally different car and truck market in two years. CNG, electric, plug in hybrid and good old gasoline (they get 60-65 mpg in Europe). I think that this is the answer. We must have more than one way of fueling our vehicles. Everyone talks about "the silver bullet" to save us from opec when the reality is that oil was the silver bullet and look where it got us. We need competition for our energy dollars. If we could go to a car dealer and buy cng or electric cars right now, we wouldn't be getting screwed so bad. As it stands, they can charge $10.00 per gallon and the only choice most Americans would have is not going to work.

This is almost true today. I've stopped driving to work and started riding the pedal bike. I know not everyone can get away with it but i work close enough (roughly 5 miles) and early enough that the heat doesn't get me in the summer, and it's not too cold here in the winter either (southern utah). As soon as i can find a decently priced CNG kit for my chevy colorado I'm converting.
