In checking with Honda, they show these Washington dealers that can work on the GX. I'd call and confirm, as the mechanics that were certified may have moved on. Always good to check.

This is my first post so hope it reaches the right person. Your '02 cavalier? Go anywhere and request a tune-up! Insure that they use AC DELCO sparkplugs!!Wires won't matter if the plugs cost more than 6.99 tell them to go fly a kite and go somewhere else!! Your tune up is causing the backfire. The stalling maybe? Good luck

TCP -- you may want to try a auto parts store and pull any codes from your computer. GM has had problems with the Cavalier fuel flow sensor ( sits on top of engine ) about $2400 dollars for the part and about 1 hour to replace. The discontinued parts warehouse in Texas has it for about $1700 dollars . Good luck!

In Colorado - FuelTek is a great CNG shop. They do all our conversions and service. Good source for tanks and parts as well. System agnostic they use ecofuels, baytech and are a BAF warranty center for ford products.

I called Baytech which is the closest one but it seems that they don't do conversion on Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner model bus. Anyone knows any other location nearby to convert these buses ? I hate to tell them they need to bring the buses all the way to SoCal or Utah to do the conversion.

As the new Clean Cities CoOrdinator for the Antelope Valley I have a new list of people whose sole existance centers around putting cng vehicles and infrastructure into place. Here is the contact info for the San Fran coordinator. There is special funding for school bus programs, as well as mass transit programs that Rick should be able to fill you in on. Usually this involves replacement of old deisel units with cng, but he can give you more details than I can. I'm still trying to get a handle on my new super powers. If Rick doesn't cover your specific area, he can direct you. Once you nail down the right contact, they can assist in working with the schools. According to my father who owns 5 CNG cars, he has been using a guy in Clinton, OK for service lately since he is closer. I'm not sure what his certification is, but he is extremely busy and does seem to be the "typical" pricing when it comes to conversions. He seems to know what he's doing and you might consider doing some research and adding him to this list. :)

Here I am Okie Dokie, I finally joined the chat group. The 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 kits we are able to install, we get from ECO Fuel by way of Fuel Tek. At Preferred Service CNG we hope to get the EPA certified Ford Focus and F-150Kits once the certification process is done. We have been told that we could purchase the EPA Cert. Chevy Silverado KIts made by Impco if we could sell the conversions, but we haven't sold any yet.

Note from forum staff: Fueltek has certified the ECO F-250/350 product with EPA.

I just wanted to mention I recently had my Bi-Fuel Explorer checked out at Semi-Service, downtown Salt Lake City.
I ran into them while they were repairing a CNG pump in Murray. I believe they work mainly on Semi's and Conversions.

I had my Explorer shipped from a seller in NY - he wasn't straight-forward with me and it arrived without the CNG system wired, and in an unknown condition (he had claimed to have driven it on CNG and that it was working fine - impossible since it had no switch or fuel).
I talked to a very helpful lady from Semi-Service (Hettie Fitzgerald), and she had me drop off the car. A mechanic named Kim looked at the system, saw I was lucky and had received a good working CNG system unlike many others who bought from this seller, traced the wires and installed a new switch for me. They were very nice to work with, and took a big weight off my shoulders. I will be working with them in the future if I run into any problems with my CNG system.

They don't do inspections.

I would highly recommend Natural Solutions in Lindon, UT.

Mike helped me with my last problem on my '04 GX (bad high pressure regulator) and saved me a few hundred dollars from what the dealer and another local shop were charging. He knows his stuff really well. After having been to a few different shops, this is the one that I think is the best.
