roebigd,

I am going to move this thread to the conversion forum for furhter discussion.

To answer your question, here is the thread that lists the EPA certified kits.

http://www.cngchat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=214

To main kit suppliers are the following:

Baytech - EPA certified kit supplier for Chevrolet vehicles
BAF - EPA certified kit supplier for Ford vehicles
EcoFuel - Mostly non-EPA certified kits
Technocarb - Non-EPA certified kits supplier

Technocarb does have EPA certified kits for propane conversions.
EcoFuel and Technocarb are located in Canada, Baytech is in California, and BAF is in Texas.

And good luck getting any of those manufactures to call you back.
Or be of much help either, unless you know the secret handshake:D
Been there done that
you have to pay them thousands of dollars and buy at least 10 kits IIRC to have them come out and watch you install them at your shop

And you all wonder why peeps want grey market stuff?

Madspeed,

Right you are. You have to be certified by the kit manufacturer to even purchase their kits and install them.

I'm hoping that Technocarb will sell me a kit for my 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I already have a 1998 Ford Contour bifuel and an FM4 to fuel it, and I want to take advantage of the FM4 and keep my Jeep as long as I can. The Technocarb non-EPA unit has an installation description available on ebay which I bought. I also bought on ebay a GFI installation kit but it has no installation instructions. If any one knows where I can find installation instructions for a GFI kit I would appreciate hearing from them. The Contour uses a GFI system so I am somewhat familiar with it. But installing a new kit is something entirely different.
