Have a 2002 Ford Ranger Extended Cab ... can't seem to find anyone in the area that does conversions. I'd ideally want to do a bi-fuel conversion ... gasoline/CNG ... just in case I couldn't get to a CNG refueling station & needed some backup motivatin' capability.

Anyone got any addresses, links, phone numbers, etc? I live in San Antonio but can visit Dallas & leave my truck in the shop there for a few days if need be.

Thanks for any help.

Ed, I'm going to move this over to the conversions forum. You can follow it there.

Sheesh! If Texas is trying to move to CNG fuel & emphasize the change for the local fuel supply they sure are doing a rotten job of it. I've gone through this website & searched the WWW & can't find diddlysquat info on who does legal conversions in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas or Fort Worth. Only 1 guy in Lockhart who doesn't do 'certified' conversions ... a lotta good THAT'll do me!

I tried to do this 5 yrs ago & couldn't find any sources then either. You'd think that there'd be more of a demand & someone filling it by now.

I'd be willing to buy a kit IF I could find a certified mechanic to install it so it'd be kosher.

Your problem is you live in Texas and don't work for the railroad commision.
They run what they want, who's going to stop them. ^

I had extra tank capacity added up in Utah at Sno Motion Solutions and will be driving my truck back to Austin this weekend. Couldn't find anyone in Texas either.

Mo,
I feel your pain, I have friends and customers in El Paso, Flatonia, Luling and am moving a friend to Kerrville over the summer. Either they come to my shop in Tucson or I have to go to them. Texas really needs to get on the ball with CNG. ^
