Older ECO FMS

Anyone have any information about these older ECO / FMS units? I am sweeping the net trying to find a wiring diagram for the harness and have found nothing yet. I picked this up at TGT and hopefuly Tom or Charlie will come through for me (good people over there at TGT)...

I have a post in the "Local/Okies introduce yourselves" about my 03 Avalanche conversion. It has come to a halt until I find a new way to meter the gas. It looks like I may be going to a negative pressure reg. I have a positive press reg in the Ave now, but I'm not sure if the ECO can meter / handle positive pressure. I don't know enough about it yet.

BTW... if you want to see what an Avalanche conversion should look like, you MUST see what Tulsa Gas Tech has going on... I'm green...:D

if that is the old system with a vapor hose and a servo to trim it put a static screw in it and drive it. :D

By "put a static screw in it and drive it", do you mean I should lock the servo controled valve open and let the venturies do their thing (like a carburator)?:eek:

I would if the FMS is belly up and no one can fix it for you. you could pull the servo and install a static screw and tune it either with the O2 sensor signal or a exhaust gas analyzer. I dont know if there are any shops around that can help you with the FMS or not. Its worth a shot.

Ok... Thanks again clean03...
I removed the Impco low pressure regulator, GM/impco computer and control valve. I then installed an ECO negative pressure regulator and mounted the venturi/mixer/fumigation unit (whatever you like to call it) directly to my throttle body, powered up my low press lock and high press lock... adjusted the idle trim to allow some gas flow while friend cranked... it started :D

Now, better yet, after a few moments of warm-up, it revved up nicely:D

Then placing the Ave in drive loading up the engine at about 1/4 to 1/3 throttle felt STRONG :D

It's drivable :D

I will post again after I get the equipment mounted permanently and will later incorporate the FMS and Valve.
