Does anybody know if the CNG system used on the bi-fuel Cavaliers can be swapped over to any other vehicles/engines? I have a 2001 Cavalier that has been given a salvage title from an accident but the CNG components are still in good shape.
It looks like GM used the same 2.2 engine in the S-10, would this convert over easily? I would love the idea of the fuel economy of a 2.2 liter truck combined with fuel range of bigger/multiple tanks that would fit in a truck bed.

i cant guarantee that it would work, but i see no reason why not. i think they are the same motor. of course the tank mounting and tubing and a few other things would need to be changed, but I think it would be awesome.

Do you still have cng parts from your cavalier? I am in need of a fuel engine control module and wiring harness found behind the front bumper. Any interest in selling this to me? Hooper
